This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.**Key Responsibilities*** Stock and organize products safely and accurately.* Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up or delivery.* Load and unload the delivery trucks.* Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.* Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.* Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.**Direct Manager/Direct Reports*** Reports to: Branch/Warehouse Manager* Direct Reports: None**Travel Requirements*** Minimal to none; role is primarily based in the branch/warehouse.**Physical Requirements*** Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.* Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.**Working Conditions*** Work performed in a warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.**Minimum Qualifications*** Must be at least 18 years old.* Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.* Ability to read, write, understand, and communicating in English and/or bilingual (Spanish) may be required in specific locations.* Comfortable using basic math in daily tasks.**Preferred Qualifications*** Forklift experience or certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training)**Minimum Education*** High school diploma or equivalent**Preferred Education*** None.**Minimum Experience*** At least 1 year of experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment**Certifications*** Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training)**Competencies*** Safety First Mindset* Teamwork and Collaboration* Customer Service* Dependability* Attention to DetailThe base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs.
