Job summary

United Electric Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team in Rockville. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing orders, and assisting with shipments while maintaining safety standards.

You will use RF guns for picking, stock shelves, and help customers with pipe purchases. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm. Employee-owned company with comprehensive benefits.

• Minimum High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials, checks packing slips against merchandise, and notifies supervisor of defects.
• Stocks shelves and ensures materials are in designated areas.
• Pulls materials to fill orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers and will call orders; verifies quantity and specs.
• Uses RF guns for picking and packing.
• Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per orders and procedures.
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks.
• Assists customers with pipe purchases.
• Cuts wire for counter, will call, and other sales orders to meet customer specifications.
• Checks email and trackers daily for time-sensitive information.
• Posts purchase orders via RF and related data into the system.
• Works with internal departments to deliver exceptional service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities include inspecting and stocking materials, picking and packing orders, assisting with shipments, and providing customer service, while ensuring smooth operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects, solving related problems and notifies supervisor as necessary.
• Stock shelves and ensuring materials are in their designated area.
• Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers and will call orders. Identify correct quantity and customer specifications.
• Utilize RF guns for picking and packing.
• Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks.
• Assists customers with pipe purchases.
• Cuts wire for counter, will call, and other specific sales orders to meet the customers specifications.
• Check email and trackers daily for time sensitive company information.
• Posts purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position

• May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, and twist.
