Job summary

Hissho Sushi, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, pick, pack and ship products in our Rock Hill distribution center. You will use an RF scanner, operate simple handling equipment and help maintain inventory accuracy.

Candidates should be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and complying with food safety regulations. WMS experience and forklift training are a plus; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• WMS experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in hot/cold temperatures.
• Must have reliable transportation and forklift training when possible.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive floor loaded and palletized products.
• Receive and store incoming products verifying type, quantity, and quality.
• Using an RF scanner, receive, pick, pack and ship orders verifying accuracy of product and quantity.
• Organize and replenish stock as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to all food compliance, safety regulations and requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse.
• Ability to count and perform cycle counts of products.
• Operate handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.
• Perform general warehouse duties as necessary.

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring inventory is received, stored, picked and shipped correctly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet for extended periods of time, focusing on meeting production quotas, and has experience using a warehouse management system. The warehouse associate may operate a pallet jack (manual & electric) or a forklift, therefore a candidate with experience and a valid driver's license is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
