Job summary

Casper's Ice Cream is seeking a warehouse team member to prepare orders, stack finished product, and keep the freezer organized. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and assist with shipping while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

The shift runs Monday–Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay starts at $19.50/hour, increasing to $20.50/hour after forklift certification, with benefits starting Day 1 including health, dental, vision, and more. Includes PTO, sick days, and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities

• Manually stack finished product from rollers onto pallets in the freezer, lifting 35-lb cases to build pallets up to six feet high
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move, shrink wrap, rotate, and store pallets of finished goods
• Follow daily picking tickets to build and stage orders for shipping
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, verify counts, and complete paperwork for received/shipped goods
• Maintain general housekeeping in the freezer and warehouse

Job description

Join our warehouse team and play a key role in keeping production and shipping running smoothly. You'll handle finished product, prepare orders for shipment, and help keep our freezer warehouse clean and organized. As a team member, you'll also take-home weekly factory seconds - your freezer will never be empty!

Schedule

What You'll Do

• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move, shrink wrap, rotate, and store pallets of finished goods
• Follow daily picking tickets to build and stage orders for shipping
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, verify piece counts, and complete paperwork for received/shipped goods
• Maintain general housekeeping in the freezer and warehouse

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 35-lb cases from floor level and build pallets up to six feet high
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs when handling CHEP pallets
• Full range of motion in knees, back, and neck
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment averaging -20°F
• Freezer and warehouse settings with varying noise levels and moving equipment
• Exposure to industrial machinery, including electromagnetic fields from production equipment
• Exposure to food allergens (peanuts, tree nuts), including contact with skins, oils, and dust from processing and grinding
