Summary

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to participate in daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, distribution of equipment and supplies, and inventory maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in daily warehouse activities: receipt, documentation, storage, safety, distribution, and inventory maintenance.
2. Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store, and deliver materials and supplies.
3. Ensure merchandise is safely packed and labeled for shipping.
4. Maintain warehousing systems, procedures, and standards for accurate and timely storage and billing.
5. Organize the storage area and recommend improvements.
6. Track projects, pull shipments, and prepare reports.
7. Reconcile receiving and delivery reports.
8. Follow safety policies and use proper PPE, lifting, and handling techniques to prevent injuries.
9. Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Knowledge of packaging, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations.
3. Forklift certification preferred.
4. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, punctuality, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Physical stamina for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.

Physical Requirements

Must communicate effectively and have the physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds, work long hours on feet, and perform physical movements like bending, reaching, and climbing.
