Job summary

Sierra Forest Products in Portland, OR is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a full-time onsite role (7 am to 4 pm) at a rate of $23 per hour. You will operate a forklift, prepare orders for shipment, verify counts, and ensure loads are secured and properly documented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift license and prior forklift experience.
• Experience working with lumber or panels is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull ~75 lbs repeatedly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products using a forklift.
• Prepare order for shipment, ensure exact number and type are loaded and shipped.
• Oversee freight handling and secure loads in accordance with safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and place in correct storage location.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report discrepancies in inventory to management.
• Maintain organized work area per policies and safety regulations.
