Job summary

Matrix-NDI in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and project fulfillment activities. The role includes receiving and processing incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory, selecting and packing orders, and coordinating shipments to customers and field teams.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or purchasing processes.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Acumatica or another ERP system preferred
  • Ability to learn and use Smartsheet, ERP systems, shipping systems, and other business software.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prevent performance of the position’s essential duties.
  • Forklift experience or the ability to obtain company-required forklift certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with coworkers, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process purchase orders, including confirming quantities, pricing, product specifications, availability, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, project teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and expedite materials as needed to support project schedules and customer requirements.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock and project materials.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and other applicable documentation.
  • Identify and resolve shortages, damaged materials, incorrect shipments, and other order discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Accurately record purchasing, receiving, inventory, and shipment information in the company’s ERP and related systems.
  • Pick and fill material orders for field technicians, projects, customers, and internal departments.
  • Pack, label, stage, and ship orders in accordance with company and carrier requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts, inventory reconciliation, and stock organization.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Annually

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and project fulfillment activities. This position is responsible for receiving and processing incoming materials, maintaining organized and accurate inventory, picking and packing orders, and coordinating shipments to customers, field technicians, and project locations.

The Warehouse Associate also prepares and monitors purchase orders, coordinates with suppliers and distribution partners, expedites orders when necessary, verifies received materials, and works with suppliers to resolve shipment discrepancies.
