Overview

Role and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and installation schedules.

• Follow and enable a culture where Arizona Home and Appliance Core Values come to life.
• Safely, accurately, and timely receive, inspect, verify, rotate stock, pull, and stage all material.
• Safely operate a forklift (order picker, squeeze clamp, basaloid, forklift) to move materials.
• Safely operate a pallet jack and hand truck to move materials.
• Safely move material by hand.
• Unload and load semi-trailers and box trucks.
• Use technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and participate in keeping the facility safe and accident-free.
• Complete all training requirements via online technology.
• Work as part of a small team but also be capable of working independently.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mechanical skills and willingness to learn.

Ability to lift 75-pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Previous forklift certification.
