We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of orders, overseeing the entire order fulfillment process from receipt to shipment. They will work closely with operations, quality, and logistics to verify order details, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure timely deliveries for our customers.
- Carries out Work Orders for steel sales and sawing services by picking steel products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Pulls products from inventory shelves to fulfill customer orders, verifying quantities and quality through inspections.
- Bundles and prepares products for shipping, ensuring they are securely packaged for transit and meet quality standards.
- Organizes and stores materials in designated areas, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operates saw equipment to cut steel products to required sizes.
- Performs shipping duties, including loading and preparing outgoing shipments with proper documentation and labeling.
- Handles receiving duties, such as unloading trucks, inspecting, documenting incoming shipments, and reporting discrepancies.
- Removes waste/scrap as needed and identifies nonconforming materials.
- Uses sit-down and side loader forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Maintains production equipment, ensures product identification and traceability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience with proficiency in various warehouse operations and procedures.
- Experience operating machines like industrial saws or side-loader forklifts is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability with a stable employment history, showing dedication.
- Experience with crane operations is a plus; training will be provided.
- Safety-first mindset, following OSHA regulations.
Work Location:
Full-time, on-site at 85 NJ-31, Pennington NJ 08534.
