Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming material against purchase orders, packing lists, and approved receiving documentation; verify identification, quantities, serial numbers, and discrepancies.
  • Record authorized receipts, issues, returns, and movements in Costpoint or other systems; validate project and funding information and escalate inconsistencies.
  • Conduct wall-to-wall physical inventories and cycle counts; document quantities, serial numbers, and locations; support reconciliations with Property Management.
  • Maintain organized storage areas with accurate bin labels and location identifiers; ensure movements are recorded promptly.
  • Track consumable inventory levels and submit restock recommendations through approved channels.
  • Prepare and validate equipment kits and shipments against approved requests; confirm quantities, serial numbers, condition, and shipment details.
  • Prepare and maintain DD1149s, packing lists, shipping records; route packages for reviews and signatures; track acknowledgments.
  • Maintain movement records for deployed, loaned, returned, or transferred equipment; ensure documentation and return dates are current.

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our ABMS DI Network program located in Orlando, FL. Our Team supports the Department of Air Force (DAF) Battle Network and supporting infrastructure. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations as well as the long‑term maturation of complex systems central to mission success.

This position works closely with Operations, Property Management, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics teams, and requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to resolve discrepancies before processing material transactions.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming material against purchase orders, packing lists, and approved receiving documentation. Verify item identification, quantities, serial numbers, condition, and any discrepancies prior to processing.
  • Record authorized receipts, issues, returns, and location movements in Costpoint or other designated systems. Validate project and funding information and elevate inconsistencies before posting.
  • Conduct wall‑to‑wall physical inventories and cycle counts; document actual quantities, serial numbers, and locations; and support reconciliation activities with Property Management.
  • Maintain organized storage areas with accurate bin labels and location identifiers. Ensure material movements are recorded promptly to keep physical and system records aligned.
  • Track consumable inventory levels, monitor replenishment needs, and submit restock recommendations through approved channels.
  • Prepare and validate equipment kits and shipments against approved requests and item lists, confirming quantities, serial numbers, condition, packaging, and shipment details.
  • Prepare and maintain DD1149s, packing lists, shipping records, and other supporting documentation. Route packages for required reviews and signatures and track outstanding acknowledgments.
  • Maintain accurate movement records for deployed, loaned, returned, or transferred equipment, ensuring destination, custodian, documentation, and return dates are up to date.
  • Maintain a controlled document register with links to authoritative records, identifying duplicate copies or unresolved actions as needed.
  • Provide timely status updates, identify blockers early, and complete documented handoffs for unfinished or time‑sensitive work.
  • Report equipment damage, missing components, or maintenance issues to the appropriate technical or logistics personnel.
  • Follow all approved safety, security, handling, and shipping procedures. Perform any specialized COMSEC, classified‑material, or hazardous‑material duties only after completing required training and receiving authorization.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma 3-5 years of related experience
  • US Citizen; Currently possessing an active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and DoD material handling standards.
  • Experience entering and validating data within an enterprise inventory or warehouse‑management system.
  • Ability to maintain accurate item, quantity, serial‑number, location, and shipment records.
  • Experience identifying discrepancies between physical material and source documents prior to completing transactions.
  • Working proficiency with Excel (sorting, filtering, maintaining trackers), Outlook, and document‑management tools.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, communicate discrepancies clearly, request clarification when needed, and provide reliable task updates.
  • Ability to safely perform essential warehouse duties, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds using appropriate methods and assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with Deltek Costpoint inventory, receiving, or material‑management functions.
  • Experience preparing and tracking DD1149s and supporting government or contractor property accountability.
  • Prior DoD contractor or military supply/warehouse experience.
  • Experience handling serialized IT, communications, networking equipment, or equipment kits.
  • Experience researching quantity discrepancies, correcting location records, and maintaining transaction traceability.
  • Experience using SharePoint, barcode scanners, or similar tools for document and inventory control.
  • Relevant hazardous‑material shipping training or experience supporting controlled‑material shipments.
  • Experience supporting ABMS, JADC2, or similar defense programs.
Pay Range:

Pay Range $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
