Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate in Norwood, MA. The role assists with loading/unloading trucks, processing furniture, and keeping the warehouse organized so items are rental-ready for delivery teams.

The position is cross-trained to cover multiple warehouse functions as needed. Pay is $18/hour; schedule is Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, with overtime opportunities and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred; priority for more experience.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy, relocating products as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with various warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, processing furniture, and maintaining the warehouse. This role ensures that furniture is rental-ready for delivery teams, contributing to an optimal customer experience. The Warehouse Associate will be cross-trained in all aspects of warehousing and may fill different roles based on daily business needs.

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00AM- 6:30 PM.

• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner
• Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
• Must pass drug scr eening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.
