Job summary

Cencora is seeking a warehouse associate for our Brooks, KY distribution center. You will perform order fulfillment, stock management, and RF scanning to ensure accurate shipping and inventory control.

Shift is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or until finish. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with earning opportunities, including shift differentials, incentives and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to work in a climate-controlled facility and fast-paced setting.
• Overtime may be required to meet delivery needs.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred (1 year or less).

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment including stocking, restocking, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
• Use RF scanning equipment to track and verify products.
• Maintain a clean area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise safe.
• Verify received products against documents and report discrepancies or damages.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM or until Finish. Pay starting at $19.00 with a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, perfromance incentives and referral bonuses. Location: 420 International Blvd., Ste 500, Brooks, KY 40109

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.


• Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.


• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.


• Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.


• Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Skills & Knowledge

Able to work in climate-controlled facility. Ability to read and understand the English language Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards. Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important. Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery) Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis. Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less) Able to work with RF scanning equipment

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size


• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)


• Ability to stand for long periods of time
