Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support receiving and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. You will pull, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup while assisting with loading and inventory logging, ensuring accuracy and safe operations.

The role requires forklift operation experience, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently and maintain required certification.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds and perform lifting tasks as needed.
• Experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments and logs into inventory; conducts audits to maintain accuracy.
• Communicates with supervisors, sales staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and conducts vehicle safety checks.

Location: SPP Virginia Beach, VA - 435A; 4500 Progress Rd, Suite B, Norfolk, Virginia - 23502 Pay: $18 - $20 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses. Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 4:30PM + Rotating Saturdays during summer season 8AM-12PM

What to Expect?

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

The compensation range for this position in Virginia is between $18 and $20 based on a full-time schedule. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commissions plans as well as relocation or cost of living adjustments.
