The Warehouse Associate position is based in Norcross, GA.

Compensation depends on experience, knowledge, and capabilities.

Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards. This includes handling all warehouse transactions and maintaining the warehouse environment and equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Promote a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment. Follow SOPs and safety rules, and address safety concerns immediately.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and descriptions against packing lists.
  • Keep incoming orders organized and report freight damages.
  • Prepare and verify shipments, ensure correct products are shipped, and process shipping paperwork.
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, and wire cutting machines when required.
  • Load vehicles, inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
  • Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Make deliveries as needed and assist with other warehouse or branch duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, certification preferred.
  • If making deliveries: valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, pass MVR review, obtain medical certificate verification within 60 days, no recent suspended licenses or at-fault accidents in past 3 years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • General electrical product knowledge is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, problem-solving, basic math, organization, time management, and computer skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work overtime as needed.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Exposure to high noise, heat, cold, electrical hazards, and dangerous equipment.
  • Travel to offsite locations occasionally.
  • Physical activities include sitting, walking, operating machinery, climbing ladders, and using senses for communication and safety detection.
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally.
