Genson Overhead Door is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Locke, NY location. This full-time role involves receiving and processing stock, picking orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

Prior forklift experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided. You will join a team delivering garage door installation, maintenance, and repair services, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable transportation to and from your base office location.
• Forklift certification or previous forklift experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading shipments.
• Maintaining a neat, organized warehouse.
• Preparing customer furnish-only orders for pickup or delivery.
• Preparing orders for outgoing installation and maintenance.
• Maintaining inventory tracking.

Summary

In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will assume the pivotal responsibility of performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock & assigned job materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and managing, organizing & receiving stock. Prior experience is not a prerequisite, as we provide thorough on-the-job training.

Duties

• Properly loading and unloading shipments
• Maintaining a neat and organized warehouse
• Preparing customer furnish-only orders for pick-up and delivery
• Preparing orders for outgoing installation and maintenance
• Maintaining inventory tracking
• Warehouse stocking
• Communicating with team members to meet our customers' expectations
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Assisting operations staff with various jobs and tasks as needed
• Operating a forklift regularly

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
