Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and yard operations, safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain accurate inventory, and help ensure a safe, clean work environment.

You'll work outdoors in varying weather, verify orders, and follow safety protocols while wearing PPE. The role requires physical effort, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and reliable

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety and accurate documentation.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols, while wearing PPE
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including general cleaning and painting when needed

What you'll do:

As a Warehouse Associate at QXO, you'll support daily warehouse and yard operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You'll operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain accurate inventory and order documentation, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including general cleaning and painting as needed

What you'll bring:

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment preferred
• previous warehouse experience preferred
• able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
