Job summary

Labcorp in Nashville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our team and fulfill customer orders for medical lab supplies.

You will load and unload shipments, verify packing slips, process stock in the inventory system and assist with cycle counts.

This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule with opportunities to grow within a global life sciences leader. Basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• No minimum education or experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience in a warehouse or picking and packing orders.
• 1 year or more experience with warehouse equipment such as a forklift, cherry picker, and pallet jack.
• Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips.

• Process orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and email.
• Print requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clients.
• Pack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS.
• Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely.
• Maintain inventory control according to company standards.
• Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory.
• Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
