Job summary

Pearlman Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform order picking, packing, and loading/unloading in our distribution center. The role requires safe operation of warehouse tools and the ability to move up to 50 pounds, using RF equipment to locate items and ensure accuracy.

Must be 18+, with a high school diploma preferred, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety and process standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, and loading/unloading.

• Uses RF equipment to locate products and confirms correct items.
• Follows safety policies and keeps the facility clean and organized.
• Assists teammates and performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Purpose / Summary:

Warehouse associates are responsible for various job duties within the warehouse/distribution center. These duties include, but are not limited to order picking, packing, and loading/unloading. Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within the warehouse environment and provide high-quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, accurate storage and handling of inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, and loading/unloading.
• Ability to pull a 50 lb. cart throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to locate products using technology (RF equipment)
• Ability to read and interpret numbers and words from a pick ticket.
• Follows company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Works cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• Additional duties assigned by Lead or DC Managers.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience working with forklifts and other MHE is preferred.
• Warehouse experience, particularly using RF equipment, is preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands:

• Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.
• Utilize a computer and other tools for administrative support.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, on occasion.
• If certified, operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other machinery.
