Advanced Composites in Nashville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to process orders, manage inventory, and support customer needs.

You will operate forklifts, maintain records, and collaborate across departments in a rotating schedule to ensure efficiency and accuracy. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift certification (can be earned on the job).
  • Prior warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
  • Own Transportation and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and manage material handling.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and label shipments properly.
  • Stage, load, unload, and conduct physical inventory counts.
  • Follow safety and quality standards, including FIFO procedures.
  • Handle LTL & FTL shipments while reporting discrepancies.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and concerns.
  • Communicate effectively to support customer service and operations.
  • Accurately process orders and maintain detailed customer files.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure productivity and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across departments for smooth workflow and success.

What You’ll Do

Summary

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Monday - Friday


Day Shift: 3:30 AM - 3:30 PM

2-2-3 Rotation Example:

  • Work 2 days
  • Off 3 days

Employees work every other weekend and enjoy a rotating schedule that provides seven shifts over a two-week period. This schedule supports 24/7 operations while offering predictable time off.


Example Pattern:

  • Week 1: Work Monday & Tuesday, Off Wednesday & Thursday, Work Friday through Sunday
  • Week 2: Off Monday & Tuesday, Work Wednesday & Thursday, Off Friday through Sunday
