Job summary

North American Recycling, Inc is seeking a Buyer to identify, grade, and sort various metals while engaging with customers and maintaining an organized yard. You will play a key role in the front-line customer experience and uphold safety standards on-site.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in customer-facing roles, a strong eye for detail, and the physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds. This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for growth.

What You'll Do:

• Master the Metals: You will learn to recognize the various types of metal from Copper and Brass, to Aluminum and Steel.
• Captain of Organization: Keeping our yard ship-shape is your mission. Your knack for efficiency will shine as you optimize our material storage systems.
• Customer Champion: A friendly attitude is your secret weapon. You'll assist customers, work to meet their needs, and leave them smiling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer facing roles.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• A passion for staying organized and getting things done.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical strength to handle up to 50 pounds and perform various tasks.

Work Schedule:

• 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Saturday and Sunday off for a work-life balance.
