Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Myrtle Beach site. You will receive, unload, stock, and prepare orders for shipment, assist at the counter, and support other functions as needed.

You must have 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness to work at heights up to 15 feet. The environment can be warm as the site is not climate controlled.

Qualifications

• Background in Warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, twisting, pulling and standing for full shift.
• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse/sit-down forklift experience.
• Working in heights up to 15 feet.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.

Job Description:

• Receiving material, unload trucks, ship out LTL orders, prepare orders for delivery, support the other functions of the business when needed.
• Assist working at the counter when needed.
• Customer service exp.
• Must be flexible to work in other areas.
• Cycle counting.
• At times can be very busy and able to multitask.

Not climate controlled can get very warm at the site.

Must haves:

• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse/sit-down forklift experience
• Working in heights up to 15 feet
• no more than 3-month gaps in work history without an explanation on the resume

Nice to have:

• Order picker -willing to train
