Job summary

AFC Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate in Muscatine, IA to join our logistics team. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping tasks, while using RF scanners and an ERP system to process shipments accurately.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and 2+ years of forklift experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and consistent daytime hours from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming material from suppliers.

• Pack material for shipping via UPS or pallets.
• Complete documentation and adhere to quality standards.
• Process shipments in the ERP system.

What you'll be doing:

Our warehouse associates are responsible for:

• Receiving incoming material from suppliers
• Stocking shelves and pallet racks
• Locating and pulling material for customer orders
• Efficiently packing material in boxes for UPS or pallets for truck shipments
• Completing documentation, adhering to quality standards for all warehouse processes
• Processing shipments in our ERP system and other tasks as assigned.
• Forklift/Standup picker, RF scanner, picking, receiving, and shipping experience a plus.

What you need:

• You will need to be a team player, take direction and strictly follow instructions
• Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for 8 hours in a warehouse environment
• Shipping/Receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Computer skills and to be able to communication effectively.
• Must have 2+ years of forklift experience.

Work Hours: 6AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday

Hourly Pay: $19.00-20.00 (depending upon experience)
