Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate with Colony Hardware, you will begin the journey of bringing customer orders to life. To do this, you will utilize your willingness to produce high-quality, detailed, and accurate work to ensure the mission to provide excellent customer service is completed.

A Little About Your Day:

• Handle all incoming merchandise by receiving, examining, sorting, organizing, and labeling them with appropriate stock and inventory control codes.
• Send all picked orders to the packing department after verifying all items are free of defects or damage, then move the completed orders to appropriate shipment locations.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts of products for inventory and manually enter all data to ensure all information is updated, with strong attention to detail.
• Unpack items to be stocked on shelves and load trucks with packed orders following specific instructions and procedures in an organized manner.

What You’ll Need for Success:

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or packaging environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work on your feet and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with RF Scanners.
• Comfort navigating computer applications and websites.
• Experience operating equipment such as sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, cherry picker, or pallet jack.
