Job summary

CBX Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare and fulfill orders, pull inventory, label items, and load trucks for delivery. The role requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Applicants should be able to lift 25-50 lbs regularly, pass a background check and drug screen, and have good arithmetic and communication skills. A high school diploma is required and prior truck delivery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Knowledge of architectural door materials is a plus.
  • Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Pull inventory for shipments.
  • Ensure correct labels and load on truck.
  • Maintain clean, safe workspace and optimize space.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and drive to project sites.
  • Interact with customers and contractors.

The Warehouse Associates helps ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete all tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Operations Manager.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Pull inventory for shipments
  • Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery
  • Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations
  • Load finished product onto truck
  • Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders
  • Follow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specifics
  • Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • Counter sales to General Contractors
  • Use technology to help manage the logistics process.
  • Other relative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.
  • Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
  • Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates.
Physical Demands

Spends more than 2/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching. Spends approximately 1/3 of time walking and talking/hearing. Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds, and occasional lifting over 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Work Environment

Conditions will include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Subject to frequent heavy lifting. May require driving to project sites. May be exposed to variable weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
