Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of architectural doors, frames, hardware, and security integration services, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. The role focuses on timely order preparation, accurate picking, and efficient loading for delivery or pickup.

You will work with a team to maintain safety and quality standards across the warehouse. Responsibilities include pulling inventory, labeling, and packaging while following SOPs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer and arithmetic skills needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.
  • Experience with order picking and inventory is a plus.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Pull inventory for shipments.
  • Help ensure correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery.
  • Record selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Follow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling, and customer site specifics.
  • Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
  • Conduct counter sales to General Contractors.
  • Use technology to help manage the logistics process.
  • Perform other relative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must pass pre‑employment background check and drug test.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.
  • Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform arithmetic, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
  • Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates.
Physical Demands

Spends more than two‑thirds of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands, and reaching. Approximately one‑third of time is spent walking and talking/hearing. Frequent lifting of items 25–50 pounds, with occasional lifting over 50 pounds is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Work Environment

Work may involve proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and the use of various tools and hardware. Frequent heavy lifting and exposure to variable weather conditions—including hot and cold temperatures—may occur. Driving to project sites may be required.
