Job summary

ESTIS MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Estis Midland Shop- PRO in Midland, TX. The role focuses on receiving and processing stock, picking and packing orders, and organizing warehouse inventory to support timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or plumbing parts sales, strong Microsoft Excel/Word/Adobe Acrobat skills, and experience with inventory software. Welding or oilfield parts familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED is required.
• Age 21 or older.
• Three years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or plumbing parts sales organization.
• Significant experience using Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat, and an inventory management software package.
• Ability to identify parts in engineering drawings.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Oilfield equipment experience, preferably compressor parts sales, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome delivery trucks.
• Pick up orders from vendors.
• Pick up and deliver parts to other company warehouses.
• Receive, track, and unload shipments.
• Operate merchandise handling tools (e.g., forklift).
• Handle fragile merchandise carefully.
• Track shipment arrival and departure times.
• Tag and label merchandise.
• Label and stock merchandise by size, shape and type.
• Box, wrap and pack merchandise per procedures and standards.
• Prepare all orders for shipment.
• Record and manage damaged merchandise items.
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

• Welcome delivery trucks
• Pick up orders from vendors
• Pick up and deliver parts to other company warehouses
• Receive, track, and unload shipments
• Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
• Tag and label merchandise
• Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
• Box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Prepare all orders for shipment
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse properly
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
• Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone

Working Conditions:

• Vehicle Environment with controlled temperatures
• Subject to outdoor environment with adjusting temperatures and climate
• Travel as needed
