Job summary

Continental in Van Buren, Michigan is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the warehouse team with order processing and replenishment as priorities. You will pick orders using an iPad and maintain stock using FIFO, keeping the workspace organized and safe.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and readiness to learn warehouse technology such as LightSpeed racks and electric pallet jack. Full-time, hourly pay between $19 and $21.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow English instructions to perform warehousing tasks.
• Experience using warehouse technology and inventory systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using an iPad and ensure correct quantities.
• Organize products in the warehouse using FIFO to maintain stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders and the Supply Chain Manager.
• Record inventory counts for picked, packed, scrapped and excess items.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks for routes and markets.
• Stock replenishment as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently, using an iPad.

• Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure and to perform the four operations with like or common fractions to compute percent.
• Must be able or be willing to learn how to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Able to work both independently, and as a team.
• Attention to detail & accuracy.
