Job summary

Hotwire Communications Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Miami, FL to handle warehouse and clerical tasks, managing inventory controls and ensuring accurate distribution.

You will maintain a computerized database, plan equipment reconditioning, and respond to stock inquiries while supporting internal order processing and customer installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse work experience.
• Able to work a 24/7/365 schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Valid state driver's license in the State where hired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a computerized inventory tracking system.
• Plan and execute direct equipment reconditioning to meet demand.
• Ensure equipment/software suitability for customer installations.
• Respond to stock inquiries by email, phone, or in person.
• Maintain relationships with customers via internal order-processing staff.
• Monitor activities and report management information.
• Replenish inventory for satellite locations.
• Unpack and inspect incoming products against purchase orders.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other handling tools.
• Keep work areas organized and clean.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for warehouse and clerical activities. The incumbent must maintain and develop inventory distribution controls in accordance with agreed business plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and develop a computerized database tracking the current status, reconditioning and disbursement of equipment.
• Plan and carry out direct equipment reconditioning to meet agreed product demands.
• Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct customer installation purposes.
• Respond to and follow up stock inquiries by e-mail, telephone, and personal visits.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
• Carry out inventory research, and replenishment for satellite locations.
• Safely unpack and evaluate incoming product for correct count and condition in comparison to purchase orders.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment and hand tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), carts, dollies, box cutters, wire cutters, etc- to unload trucks and stock the warehouse/pharmacy.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas.
• Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of two (2) year's Warehouse work experience
• Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs
• Warehouse employees required to drive to remote warehouses must have an active and clean, non-restrictive, state issued driver’s license in State where hired.
