Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer.
2. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
3. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
4. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
5. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
6. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
7. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
8. Accurately process, package, and prepare parts orders for delivery to customers and Fabick technicians.
9. Keep an orderly, clean, and safe work environment.
10. Deliver materials to job sites/drop locations as needed.
11. Complete all safety and training courses as required.
12. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. 1-3 years manufacturing warehouse experience required.
3. Recent Forklift certification required.
4. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
5. Basic computer skills required.
6. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
7. Clean driving record required.

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience with pulling heavy equipment parts.
2. Experience with fabricating hydraulic hoses.
3. Experience working directly in the heavy equipment industry (construction/transportation/material handling/Agriculture equipment).
4. Experience with inventory management.

Physical Requirements: Regularly talking or hearing, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Drug/Physical screening required prior to hire.
