Job summary

Mattress Firm in Meridian, Idaho, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive incoming product, pick and fill orders, pack and ship, and ensure proper storage of inventory.

The role communicates with customers to provide world‑class service and follows safety policies. Expected shift is Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30 am–6:00 pm, with benefits including 401(k) and health plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ Years general work experience preferred

• Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure completion of work.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries.
• Store all product in designated location.
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
• Obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
• Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
• May operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
• Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash and cleaning parking lot and entrance to building.
• Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.
• Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles through mopping, sweeping, and washing.
• Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling materials.
• Clean and sanitize product per Company standard operating procedure.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
