Job summary

NISSAN Memphis Parts Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, and labeling goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a Monday–Friday shift from 11:00am to 7:30pm and a competitive hourly rate of $19.35 including shift premium.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, with 2 years of warehouse experience, able to lift 50 lbs, use a handheld scanner, and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment (Required).
• Ability to use a handheld scanner.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, stocking, storing, handling and labeling goods in a warehouse.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Inspecting merchandise for shortages or damage and ensuring safe handling.

What is a typical day as a Warehouse Associate?You’ll be:

• Receiving, stocking, storing, handling and labeling goods and materials in a warehouse environment
  
• Picking, filling, and preparing orders in an accurate, thorough and efficient manner
  
• Inspecting merchandise, checking for shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies
  
• Handling goods and materials carefully and safely
  
• Identifying opportunities for improvement including ways to optimize warehouse space

A Warehouse Associate job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
  
• Have 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment. (Required)
  
• Are detail oriented.
  
• Are comfortable lifting 50 lbs, bending, standing, and kneeling
  
• Ableto use a handheld scanner.
  
• Have experience with sit-down forklift, cherry pickers, and reach forklifts (Not required)
