Job summary

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Memphis, TN branch. This role involves verifying outbound orders, picking customer orders via a bar-coding system, and staging finished products for shipping.

Reports to the Warehouse Manager. Candidates should have strong organization, reliability, and attention to detail, with experience in shipping processes, data entry, and safe handling of equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify outbound orders and accuracy of shipments.

• Maintain clean, organized pull and staging areas and report damages or issues.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and report malfunctions.

Job description

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Memphis, TN branch. Responsibilities include order verification and picking customer orders via a bar-coding system with a high accuracy rate and staging the finished product.

This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Verification of outbound orders: Internal Branch Transfers, Local Deliveries, Will Call, Sales Deliveries, LTL, etc.
• Manage package shipments via UPS and FedEx.
• Oversee LTL shipments for national customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate with courier dispatchers to schedule and confirm pickups.
• Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Maintain acceptable efficiency rates of both quantity of products pulled as well as accuracy.
• Maintain bin/shelf integrity by keeping pulling areas clean of debris (empty cartons, box tops, etc.) and by keeping product organized on shelf.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged properly.
• Operate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
• Maintain material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting battery to recharging station at the end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Organization and Scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience dealing with complex fulfillment orders within strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of shipping processes, including small package and LTL carriers.
• Experience using computers. (Data entry, email, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Maintain safety management requirements.
• Assist in maintaining Inventory Control.
• Must possess a “Can Do” team-player attitude at all times.
• 12-18 months of experience working in a warehouse preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing/being on your feet throughout the day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
