Job summary

Heritage Pool Supply - Melbourne is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stock, organize and manage inventory while fulfilling customer orders and supporting shipping and receiving. You will handle products safely, count stock, and maintain a clean work area in a warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in distribution/warehouse operations, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and English communication; forklift experience is a plus and training can be provided after hire.

Position Purpose

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.

• Reports to: Branch/Warehouse Manager

Travel Requirements

• Minimal to none; role is primarily based in the branch/warehouse.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.

Working Conditions

• Work performed in a warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
