Join to apply for the Warehouse Associate role at Elliott Electric Supply.

Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch, providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates must be capable of working in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner. Employment offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test, which screens for substances including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and SAMHSA.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Ability to read orders and match them with items on shipping tickets.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification for power-truck operation.
• Experience with inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding devices and handheld scanners.
• Fluency in English; Spanish skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures typical of warehouse environments.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods.
• Climbing ladders for top-level selection may be required.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
