Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a dynamic team handling order fulfillment, packing, stocking, loading, and ensuring warehouse organization and safety. The successful candidate will be dependable, prompt, and engaged, contributing to a culture that aims to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking products, picking items, wrapping for transport, and providing loading/unloading support.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Strong reading and communication skills.
• Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred.

• Review orders, pull requested items from shelves, examine for accuracy, and wrap for transport.
• Provide loading and unloading support as needed.
• Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts as requested.
• Follow processes and procedures as instructed by your Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.
• Help maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors as well as vendor partners and employees.
• Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to move up to 40 lbs.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
