Job summary

ROCS Grad Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a small, family-owned business with 50+ years in operation. You will receive vendor shipments, verify against POs, stock shelves, pick items for orders, expedite shipments, and support local deliveries.

Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required. The role involves packing, labeling, and updating the system to reflect completed units, ensuring accurate inventory and order fulfillment.

• Basic computer skills to enter information into databases.

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor shipments daily and enter receipts into the system.
• Compare receipts to POs for open orders and check for discrepancies.
• Put stock away onto shelves and fill open customer orders.
• Review open POs to expedite shipments.
• Pack and label parts per company specs.
• Update the system when units are assembled.

Job description

We are a small and growing family-owned business that has been around for over 50 years.

Overall Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate:

• Receives vendor shipments on a daily basis and enters receipts into the computer system.
• Compares receipt to Purchase Orders (PO's) to confirm that there is an open purchase order and check for damaged, defective, shortages and other discrepancies
• Put stock away onto shelves
• Select items from stock and check incoming inventory to fill open customer orders
• Periodically review open purchase orders to expedite shipments.
• Pick up local vendor shipments. Make local customer deliveries.
• Maintain good organization in the warehouse and personal area
• Package and label parts to company specifications

Shipping Responsibilities:

• Pack loose products for customer shipping
• Confirms that the products to be shipped and the correct products and that the item count matches the order count.
• Assemble kits and units from various parts according to directions
• Update the system to reflect the completed assembled units.

Qualifications for Warehouse Associate:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Acceptance of directions and instructions from supervisor
• Basic computer skills are essential to entering information into various databases.
• Clean Driving Record
• Be able to drive a pick-up truck
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and use a ladder
