Job summary

Galco Industrial Electronics is seeking a warehouse associate to handle all aspects of warehousing, including picking, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivering products to other company locations and customers.

The role may include hands-on value-added tasks such as assembly, labeling, and product alterations, with shifts 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Warehousing experience is desirable (but not necessary).
• Lift Truck experience is desirable.
• Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have basic math skills (adding and subtracting).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including picking of orders, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivery of product to alternate company location and to customers.
• Some hands-on value-added duties will be required (assembly, labeling, altering of product).

Galco Industrial Electronics is an authorized distributor for over one million products from over 400 brands. We specialize in industrial, electrical and electronic automation, control and component solutions. Our distribution center stocks over 50,000 products and offers same day shipping and emergency service. We offer on-site and in-house repair services, as well as, engineering services which facilitate integration, retrofits and upgrades.

Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including picking of orders, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivery of product to alternate company location and to customers. Some hands-on value-added duties will be required (assembly, labeling, altering of product).

Required Education and Experience:

• Warehousing experience is desirable (but not necessary)
• Lift Truck experience is desirable

• Positions are currently full-time
• Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, you can expect to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. and 6:30p.m.
