Job summary

POOLCORP, based in Madison, AL, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support order receiving and pulling in a fast-paced setting. You will accurately pull, fill, pack and stage orders for delivery or pickup and assist with loading vehicles for delivery.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, and forklift experience; candidates with warehousing and distribution background are preferred. Benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and maintain certification.
• Keep the facility clean, neat, safe and efficient.

Pay

$18 - $25/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

What to Expect?

• The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
