Job summary

Placon is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for our Madison, WI facility. You will safely handle materials, operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts, and support fast-paced production.

In this role you’ll load/unload trailers, pick/pack inventory, use RF scanners, and maintain clean warehouse areas. The schedule rotates: 3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, with 12-hour shifts; night shift offers a 6% differential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of verified reach truck (stand-up forklift) experience.
• Proven record of safe equipment operation and adherence to SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate counting, labeling, and documentation.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and stand for 12-hour shifts.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate who takes pride in safe, accurate material handling and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’re skilled with reach trucks and stand-up forklifts, confident navigating warehouse systems, and ready to play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Compensation

Starting hourly rate is $21.00 per hour. Team Members working the Night Shift will qualify for an additional 6% shift differential.

Work Schedule

Rotational 12-hour shift | 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

• Day Shift: 6 AM – 6 PM
• Night Shift: 6 PM – 6 AM (preference given to night candidates)
• New Team Members can expect approximately 2-3 weeks of paid training on the Day Shift before transitioning to their assigned schedule.
