This position is responsible for order pulling, inventory packaging, shipping and receiving. This position description is not intended and should not be construed to be a exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with the job. Incumbents may be required to perform other duties as assigned or as required by the needs of the business. Responsibilities include pulling parts inventory for orders, packaging parts inventory to be shipped to the customer, unloading merchandise being received from loading docks to stock and place into warehouse inventory, moving materials through facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, reach truck, order picker), keeping work area clean and organized, completing routine paperwork to properly document work performed, using computers and scan guns to dispense and receive basic information that includes product codes, part numbers, quantities, locations, etc., conducting periodic inventory cycle counts, parts and pick ticket quality inspections, other duties as assigned; job duties subject to change without notice, and following all safety policies. Basic qualifications include High School Diploma or GED, any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position, fluency in English, proven record of good attendance, safety record and productivity, and two years’ experience working in a warehouse environment. Preferred qualifications include computer skills and basic mathematical skills. Working conditions require ability to move parts and material up to 50lbs in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift throughout the day, work at heights up to 22 ft on cherry picker, bend and stoop repetitively, work in varying temperatures, and go up and down mobile stairs consistently all day.
