Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, counting, and inventory control in our NH distribution network. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed, sort and rack goods, and prepare stock orders with precision and timeliness.

The role emphasizes data entry, shipping label accuracy, and active collaboration with teammates to maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills and keyboard typing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count packages; register in the system and coordinate transport.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse.
• Sort products and place them on racks according to procedures and deadlines.
• Prepare and pick stock orders with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform data entry and keep product information updated for inventory.
• Handle outbound packaging and apply shipping labels correctly.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by supervisor; support warehouse needs.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately receive and count packages, ensuring proper registration in the system and timely transportation.

2. Proficiently operate both manual and electric pallet jacks to transfer packages to designated locations within the warehouse.

3. Efficiently sort products and arrange them on appropriate racks and shelves according to established procedures and deadlines.

4. Follow work orders meticulously to accurately prepare and pick stock orders, maintaining high levels of order accuracy and timeliness.

5. Utilize basic computer skills to perform data entry tasks and update product information as instructed, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management.

6. Execute outbound processes, including packaging products and ensuring accurate application of shipping labels.

7. Flexibly undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to overall warehouse success.

8. Facilitate productive collaboration among team members and various departments to enhance warehouse efficiency, promoting a harmonious and supportive workplace atmosphere. Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean warehouse environment.

Job Requirement:

• 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and consistently apply all policies and procedures.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, if any, is a plus..
• Ability and willingness to coordinate with upstream and downstream workflow to ensure the accuracy of inventory management efficiently.
• Able to move & lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Basic knowledge of computers, need to know how to use a computer and keyboard typing.
