Job summary

GEODIS is hiring for a warehouse associate in Ohio. You will receive, store, move, and distribute materials, read schedules, and prepare orders for packing and shipping.

The role requires basic math, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to work in non-climate-controlled environments. We offer part-time, full-time, seasonal, and gig opportunities with possible bonuss and early pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience.
• Ability to perform operations using US currency, weights, volume, and distance units.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to work with standardized tasks with limited variables.
• Physical ability to use hands, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, speak and hear.
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials.
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or shipping department.

What you will be doing:

Requirements:
