Job summary

QXO is North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation and related building materials, seeking a Warehouse Specialist to handle loading, unloading, inventory, and shipping tasks in a safety-sensitive role. The position requires forklift certification, strong math skills, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities include receiving inbound material, cycle counts, and occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload installer’s trucks; ensure Load In / Load Out policies are adhered to.
• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, perform inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products.
• Receive and unload inbound material; process inbound shipments and stock material; handle customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments.
• Cycle count inventory; store items in an orderly and accessible manner; inspect stock for wear or defects.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage; make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

Looking for a Warehouse Specialist to perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse. Responsible for performing load in/load out activities, material handling, inventory, receiving and shipping activities. Ensures all activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Load and unload installer’s trucks; Ensures the Load In / Load Out policies are adhered to.
• Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintain, clean and organize facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc.
• Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
• Cycle count inventory, store in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
