Evening shift

This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand-building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy for outgoing and incoming trucks. Employees work from electronic order systems or sheets, using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. The role involves ensuring loading accuracy and compliance with documentation, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and working in various weather conditions. Shift hours may vary based on workload.

Responsibilities include loading trucks with full pallets, unloading raw materials, and handling returned products. The role requires lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, and involves standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping throughout the shift.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to pick and build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick systems.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
• Wrap pallets after loading.
• Complete paperwork and check trucks before loading.
• Stage pallets and load them into trucks.
• Complete partial and mixed pallets.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards.
• Ensure regular and reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Warehouse experience, including order picking, staging, and operating powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Experience with racking systems and pallet loading/unloading.
• Teamwork experience, including cooperation and problem-solving.
