Job summary

Job Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

• Perform daily functions of preparing, packing, and shipping customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Cross‑train on other functions of our shipping department (e.g. packing slip/BOL creation, UPS shipping) as required to support the overall team effort of the Logistics Department.

Required Qualifications

• Motivated, independent, self‑starter, able to think on your feet. Willing to take on new responsibilities and grow.
• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Warehouse experience or similar environment.
• Experience working on a computer, comfortable with some data entry.
• Must be a detail oriented person willing and able to contribute to a winning team effort.
• Able to read and write English.

Physical Requirements and Duties

• Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk – repetitive motion.
• Ability to stand for 85% of a work shift.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Experience stocking in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with both shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with both picking and packing in a warehouse environment.
