Job summary

Heartland Home Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Lexington, KY to plan, direct, and coordinate warehouse activities in line with our service schedule. You will oversee shop operations, logistics, and inventory control while supporting multiple departments.

The role requires at least 2 years in a warehouse environment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and forklift certification where possible. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Job Description:We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate plans, directs, and coordinates transportation, storage, and distribution/staging activities in accordance with organizational policies . This position o versees operations at the warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to the service and installation schedule. The duties and responsibilities of the position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Responsibilities: Leads shop team in day-to-day warehouse operations Oversee logistics: shop runs for various departments Works in conjunction with the facilities manager to optimize shop layout Maintains weekend schedules for the shop team Provides feedback to Purchasing Manager to facilitate employee reviews Assist with yearly stock and inventory counts Helps develop and maintain perpetual inventory processes Other duties as assignedRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Work Experience: 2 years of Warehouse experience Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education required Certification: Forklift, Box Truck Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office skills Organization Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Cross-functional skills: Basic math skills Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
