Summary/Objective

This position provides warehouse support and customer service. Warehouse associates work as a team or independently to provide receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment services. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Processes customer orders and packages for shipping
• Notates damage and piece counts
• Ensures compliance with all documentation required for orders
• Verifies receipts against purchase orders
• Assists in physical inventories
• May operate some warehouse equipment; radio frequency Scanners
• Keeps work area clean at all times
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized workspace; ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting; ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor; ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to talk, hear as well as use fine finger dexterity for keyboard and phone; ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and reach with hands and arms; ability to repetitively lift and/or move 40-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 70-100 pounds with or without accommodations; ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Physical Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with ability to operate hand jacks.
