Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stage, load, and unload products and maintain inventory. You will operate a forklift and ensure accuracy with packing slips while keeping a clean, safe working environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience in construction rental industry is desirable.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Strong team player with ability to work independently.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and unload finished products and raw materials.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.

• Assist with cycle counting and notify when stock is low.
• Operate forklift to move equipment and components.
• Inspect deliveries for damage and verify against packing slips.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials. You will also stock and maintain warehouse inventory.

What you'll do:

• Ensure product is in proper locations, place product in correct bin locations, and assist the manager in assigning locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Assist with cycle counting throughout the year, maintain proper inventory levels, and notify the appropriate personnel when stock is low
• Load/unload structural components onto/off delivery trucks
• Visually inspect deliveries for damage and verify quantities delivered against the packing slip for accuracy
• Prep and assemble structure components that can be pre-assembled prior to deployment
• Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and structural components safely and efficiently
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience warehouse working in the construction rental industry
• Forklift certification
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
