Job summary

Nesco Resource is hiring a Warehouse Associate in La Vergne, TN (1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm). Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

You will support daily warehouse operations, material movement, inventory accuracy, shipping/receiving, and overall warehouse organization to ensure materials, carts, and inventory are properly handled and staged for production and customer shipments. The role involves executing material runs, audits, receiving, returns processing, and cart processing to maintain orderly

Responsibilities

• Material Runs and Inventory Support: Make material runs to vendors, pick up, transport, and deliver parts and materials, and support inventory accuracy.
• Cart and Schneider Inventory Audits: Audit cart locations and Schneider inventory, report missing or damaged items.
• Receiving and Returns: Assist with receiving materials, verify against packing slips, process returns and route to correct location.
• Cart Processing: Process carts after shipment, break down and return materials to correct warehouse areas.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, material movement, inventory accuracy, shipping support, receiving support, and overall warehouse organization. This role helps ensure materials, carts, and inventory are properly handled, tracked, returned, and staged to support production and customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Material Runs and Inventory Support

• Make material runs to Schneider and other approved vendors as needed.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver parts, materials, and supplies safely and accurately.
• Pull stock from warehouse inventory based on production, shipping, or internal requests.
• Support inventory accuracy by helping maintain proper stock locations and quantities.

Cart and Schneider Inventory Audits

• Audit cart locations to ensure carts are properly staged, identified, and located.
• Audit Schneider inventory to verify materials are organized, accounted for, and available when needed.
• Report missing, misplaced, damaged, or incorrect inventory to the appropriate supervisor or team member.

Receiving and Returns

• Assist with receiving materials when computer data entry is not required.
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips, labels, or direction from the receiving team.
• Process returned materials and ensure they are properly identified, organized, and routed to the correct location.
• Support return-to-stock activities when materials are no longer needed for a job or project.

Cart Processing

• Process carts once units are shipped.
• Break down, clean up, sort, and return carts or remaining materials to the appropriate warehouse areas.
• Ensure carts are ready for reuse and do not remain in production or shipping areas unnecessarily.
