Job summary

Sonepar USA Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Southeast regional operations. You will receive, verify, package and stage products for shipping, operate PIT equipment, and ensure accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks.

The role requires 2+ years related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Benefits include health care, 401(k), dental and vision coverage, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping.
• Stage product for loading and load onto truck.
• Unload materials from truck and move to storage.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) per SOPs and OSHA standards.
• Complete daily PIT logs and maintain clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage product for loading.
• Load product onto truck.
• Unload materials from truck.
• Move materials to warehouse for storage.
• Move waste to dumpsters.
• Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out or accepted in.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) including stand up, reach truck, order picker and sit‑down propane forklift.
• Complete daily logs for PIT.
• Adhere to all processes.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Punctual and excellent attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PIT proficiency with reach truck, order picker, or sit‑down propane; current certification a plus.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk/stand for long periods.
